I find this "coincidental" that she is the winner --- not only did I use to live in Massachusetts but she is an eco-designer of upcycled items. I have a bridal salon that has eco-friendly gowns.

I came across this Pay It Forward posting and decided I wanted to do it as well. Had you seen the movie -- Pay it Forward? A powerful movie.

Especially since the launch of the One World One Heart BlogHop event, my number of followers have increased. To honor this and to celebrate YOU (my dedicated followers - who found my postings interesting enough to formally tie your Google Readers to me.. :P), I will do a giveaway to one of you.

The prize: yes, another headpiece/brooch...

I love making these. They can be used as either a headpiece or a brooch (comes fitted with both types of fasteners).

Once I get the 50, I will post pictures of the entire collection (kinda slow in the uploading department...) and the winner can choose from among those.

One World One Heart -- Brooch Giveaway and Housewarming!

As promised, I am participating in the 4th Annual One World One Heart Global Blog Event at A Whimsical Bohemian. It's a way of opening up our doors to all other bloggers....think of it as a major international housewarming! So on that note, welcome! And with any event or party, there is a door prize. To one lucky visitor, I am giving away a handcrafted brooch that I have just recently started making and sell online and at Etsy. This is an example of one, but I just got some new fun fabric that I would love to work with. The fabric is mid-pastel colors (blue, pink, green and orange) with mini white polka dots. The winner gets to choose which color s/he would like. The brooch is about 3 inches big and comes with a pin to attach to your lapel, blazer, hat or purse!
